I have been giving this system a lot of thought. Really held back by the expense of adding a 220v line.
My kitchen stove is electric on 2 50 amp breakers and the biggest burner is rated at 3000 watts. I can get a 10 gallon pot drilled for under 100 bucks.

I wonder if the blichmann boil coil would fit without modification into the clawhanmer kettle and work with their controller. 2200watts off a 120v plug sounds pretty good although I admit I have a poor understanding about all things electrical.

Was able to get the pico transferred to me. Ordered a couple packs out of curiosity and to level set as to what the system is capable of.
Ordered "Vessel of Shimmy" which I am guessing is a Chimay clone. They are using extract to bump to 8% abv and brown sugar in place of dark candy sugar...
