i have used bottles like these with great success. i use martinellis sparkling cider bottles which look like the one you pictured above. Products - Sparkling Cider - S. Martinelli & Company i use them for highly carbed beer since they can handle the pressure.

blast resistant and explosion proof dont mean the same thing here. explosion proof means that the fridge isolates any electrical sparks so they dont cause explosions if flammable material is near by.

Time will tell. It actually doesnt seem to strain as much crushing grain as it does paper. Thats why I took it apart, it sucked as a paper shredder. I think its less strained now because it doesnt have to turn two drive shafts.
