    Adding Coffee to Stout

Just did a 5 gal batch of a coffee brown ale and the coffee flavor is amazing on the back end! I boiled water and dumped over a quart in the coffee brewer, my sanitation, with grounds enough for a full pot. Don't be cheap, buy some quality medium roast! Let it cool and dump in kettle at about...

    Carb level on pale ale

Pale ale (2 row/40l crystal grain) 3 weeks primary/3 days on nectarines/dry hop in the corny secondary. 12 psi for about 9 days. Taste the carb but absolutely no head on the pour!! Any suggestions? No leaks checked!! Is what it is? For the wife hence the generic grain bill.

I know oxidation and all that jazz will produce cardboard flavors. Any chance it will have no effect if I force carb in the next...

    Adding sugars/molases for low OG

Just finished a pumpkin ale all grain. My efficiency was really low. Came out about 1.027 SG and was expecting 1.56 for 75% eff. I had to use a grain bag in a ice chest, long story, never let friends borrow your mash tun!!! Fermenting appears active now but want a larger ABV instead of the...
