Not sure about the leak in the side but the pressure relief valve is usually rebuildable. Just need to order correct style replacement.

I put 6lbs of frozen whole strawberries from Costco in the secondary and racked it to a third one after a week. Going to wait a month or so to let it clear up. Just a heads up the strawberries are nasty looking when you are done with them.

I use Bacon Equipment on Beckley. 12 bucks and 5 mins later you are out!
