All, My first batch will have been in the primary for 4 weeks tomorrow. I may not have time to bottle until this weekend. Will that be too long? Should I just bite the bullett and stay up late one night this week and bottle?

Revvy, Thanks for the reply. I do understand airlock activity is not a good judge of fermentation (I have read plenty of your posts ;)). My main concern was that the temp was too low for the yeast. I wasn't too worried about the airlock I just wanted to make sure I wasn't setting myself...

Thanks for the tip. I'll start with that amount of water. Also, thanks for the info about how you would hop. I don't have a scale but I'm guessing I can just eyeball halves (the hops are in 1 oz. packets) and be OK.
