I had the same thing happen a few months ago. I just took 3 consecutive gravity readings.....with a scale because I thought my hydro was broken. Then cold crashed 2 days for good measure. I had good carb about 8 days later, so I imagine pretty close to bottle bombs.

For my barleywine I did 1056 with a 3 liter starter, 4 weeks in primary, racked to secondary and pitched champagne yeast for 6 months. Bottle for > 4 months, turned out great. 1.124 OG 1.019 FG

Imperial looks good! Java stout round 1 was fantastic! Hot brewed the coffee which apparently is bad, causes bitterness and reduces head retention, but we enjoyed it.... It's all gone lol. Java stout round 2 is where I added 1 lb of lactose and cold brewed the coffee. Better head retention...

I don't see how people dont understand the levels of legality. The lower levels of government can be more strict, not more lenient than the higher levels. Eg. Pot illegal federally, but not at some state levels. It's still illegal federally. On the other side, beer is federally legal, but...
