    Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Coconut Cream Stout-competition runner up

    I made a 5.5 gallon batch of this, basically halved the recipe on the first page, and only used 1 8 oz bag of toasted coconut, but it was great, one of my favorites so far. I will keep this one and maybe experiment with it a little bt n the future. Thanks for the recipe!

    Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

    Sorry for the noob question, this will only be my 5th brew. I'm planning on brewing the extract version this coming weekend for the big brew day. Am I correct that you treat the carapils as a specialty grain and steep before the boil? Thanks for the help.

    Best hops for dry hopping an IPA?

    Noob question... can I modify the amount of hops added to dry hop without changing anything else and not 'ruin' a recipe? The recipe only calls for 1 oz for dry hopping and I think I would like to add more. It's an IPA with 4 oz of hops added throughout the boil. From what you guys have said...

    Hello all. I recieved a basic brew kit for x-mas, and have 2 batches under my belt so far. It is addicting. I've been lurking here for about a month and finally signed up. I look forward to learning a ton from you guys and brewing some good beer. Cheers. Leppy
