    New Kegerator Connection

Thank you all for the great advice. I'm getting 10' lines and going to final assembly next week. You're all invited over for a beer the week after.

Beer faucet plumbs to this connection

    New Kegerator Connection

What is the best way to connect these? The first connects to the kegerator tower. The second connects to the keg (ball lock) I think I can cut off the keg faucet connect off ( pic 1) and plumb the ball lock, but I don't want to regret my choice for the next decade... (first day...

    H.e.l.p

Are you pitching yeast at a good temp? If you pitch too hot you can kill good yeast & get a slow ferment and off flavors. Pitch at the right temp, and let it sit a while before bottling.

    New Kegerator Connection

I just got a new Kegerator. (yeah). The tower is plumbed to a "faucet" connection in the fridge. I have ball Lock kegs. Do I cut the "Faucet" and plumb to a ball lock, or add an adapter (quick disconnect)? If I need an adapter any recommendations are welcome. Free Beer at my place for...

Ferment temp too high 24hrs too much?

No worries. Age it an extra week or two if you want (in my experience extra age mellows high temp off flavors).

    Opening bottles warm

Three weeks at 90 & they are over carbonated. I hope two days in the fridge suspends the CO2, or you'll need to pour into pitchers & place in the fridge for a while. Good Luck.

    Mississippi Beer Brewing Laws??

If you want to lobby for this to be legal, remember - no matter what the politicians say, it's all about the money. In this case, fear of losing tax revenue from beer sales. To make your case you need to demonstrate the number of jobs created by opening home brew shops in every town and the...

    sacred and herbal healing beers

BUMPing this thread. Who has brewed these "beers"? Any thoughts? I just got the book, and a one gallon fermenter. I plan to try a few, they look interesting. I agree they are not combinations of malted grains & hops, but I liked my first mead & hard cider enough ;). I'm looking for a...

    Fermenting question ;)

Loaded question. I would leave it alone until it clears & I get the hydrometer reading I want & bottle. To me the secondary is an extra step ( of cleaning / racking etc) that doesn't add much unless I plan to age it in the fermenter a long time. More directly, I tend bottle at 3 to 5 weeks...

    Timing question

If you are considering kegging - it cuts out the bottle conditioning time, & nothing says party like a keg. Downside - its expensive.

    Fermenting question ;)

Very normal. Sounds like you have an excellent fermentation temp. & will end up with a great beer. RDWHAHB
