    Real-Time Fermentation Monitor

jmansfield, can you describe in more detail what exactly you're measuring to obtain these values, and what you're using to measure it? I've been wondering if something like this would be possible the last couple of weeks. I honestly have no idea what can be measured digitally that would give...

    little 7 oz bottles

Morebeer.com has some great 6oz bottles that I used to share some barleywine with some co-workers -- MoreBeer they're green... but the best I've been able to find... morebeer also has some cool 375ml belgian style bottles, if you have a corker -- MoreBeer

    the apartment brewer

+1 for apartment brewing. Recently moved to a new apt. (ca from ny) and just had my first brewday at the new place last weekend. The new stove is pretty weak! Could barely get a few gallons boiling... In the city, so no outdoor space and will need to stick to extract for awhile... On the...

    San Francisco Brewcraft

I just moved to San Francisco recently and was excited to have a homebrew shop in the city (there's not a single LHBS in nyc, believe it or not). Anyway, moving across the country is super expensive, so I ended up selling / giving a lot of my brewing stuff away, figuring I could replace it...

denimglen: definitely had some influence on the name and image.... i also live in queens, so, the 7 train seemed appropriate... hopefully will feature more queens/ny related imagery in the future... A4J: thanks! the gocco is awesome, but i'm starting to run out of screens, so not sure...

another tag, west coast pale ale

Not a very creative beer name, but I think the labels came out nice. Same method as I did for the barleywine labels, but I tried to pull off a two color one:

    Good LHBS in San Francisco?

Hey everyone. I'm moving to San Francisco (from New York) in the next couple of months, and spending the next few weeks out there. I'd love to hit up a HBS while I'm out there (there aren't any in NYC), and pick up a few things... Any recommendations? I've found this one thread, saying...

    last stop barleywine labels

Thanks! I made them with this japanese mini screen printer, called "print gocco" -- http://www.gocco.com/prod.HTM. Unfortunately, they've been discontinued -- http://www.savegocco.com/... they're really great for things like this. All in all, a pretty cheap project, some tags from...

    Hello from Queens, New York

Hello! I've been reading these forums pretty obsessively over the last couple of weeks and I finally have my first extract recipe in the primary! It's the Juniper Rye Ale kit from AHS. I really can't believe there's no LHBS within public transportation distance of nyc... Someone, please...

You Tube! for homebrew instructional video

Bobby M -- The videos are great. Very informative and helpful. I followed one of them to your site today and noticed that the Extract Brewing video is no longer working -- YouTube says it's no longer available... fyi...
