    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

The sprayer bottles are high-density polyethylene (HD-PE) or #2 Recyclable, the same as plastic milk containers. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-density_polyethylene

I made another one of these for my son and made a video. It's easy:

Haier 7.1 cu ft freezer for $175 at Costco

I had a bunch of low voltage dc wall wart adapters laying around and used a couple of those, one for each fan. I cut off the dc plug and connected them to the fans with some heat-shrink tubing. A little on the lame side, but they are working fine. They are 12cm case fans not mm, as I originally...

Haier 7.1 cu ft freezer for $175 at Costco

I recently put a couple of 12mm case fans in mine. They really equalize the temp from top to bottom. The ice forming on the side at the bottom disappeared within a couple days. Now I can set the temperature lower without stuff on the bottom freezing. You probably only need one but I put in two...

Just screw it onto the green plastic, no adapter needed. See my prior post.

No, read my post of 2-2-13. I used a Cornelius post and it works fine.

    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

I just made one of these with a corny keg liquid post. Turns out, it's pretty easy. There are 2 green pieces on the nozzle. Take off the first one and pull out the clear plastic piece. Then you can screw the post directly on to what's left. You will be making your own threads with the post and...

    Kegged Beer Still Tastes Green

OK, I'm taking the keg out of the keezer for two weeks and see if that helps. It could be infected as well from my beer lines, I didn't clean them for a while. They should be OK but, who knows. The other keg is OK.

    Kegged Beer Still Tastes Green

I made an all-grain IPA last month, the OG was 1.059 and the FG after 10 days was 1.014 and I racked the beer into a keg. I've made this recipe several times. I used 1.8 packs of US05 dry yeast (Mr Malty called for 1.4 11g packs but I accidentally overpitched a little.) I had a little beer left...

Haier 7.1 cu ft freezer for $175 at Costco

I use mine for ferm temp control as well. I have two 7.9 gallon plastic buckets. One goes on the hump, with some books or something to prop up one side since the hump isn't wide enough. But since I only have one freezer, I have to drink all my beer first to make room, which kinda sucks. Not that...

Nice job on your collar, abarhan. How is that drip tray attached?

Haier 7.1 cu ft freezer for $175 at Costco

I saw the HCM071LC as well. Do freezers always allow a warm enough temp for beer? I mean, I like my beer cold but not frozen. . . Costco will take it back, but it's a big thing to lug.
