I am giving up beer for 30 days

I have been following this post since the beginning, and was never planning on giving up beer for any amount of time (I probably average a few pints/work week and maybe 5/day on the weekend). Two weekends ago I was very busy at work and with things around the house so I didn't have any beers...

    Cleveland or Detroit or Minneapolis?

Cleveland. Great Lakes, Fatheads, Brew Kettle, Thirsty Dog, and many, many more. It is really an underrated beer scene. Objectively speaking though, I would check out google maps and see what piques your interest.

    Do you use an extractor?

    Yup that's it.

    What's your user name mean?

Thanks for doing your part to clean up the lake. Dilution is the solution!

    What's your user name mean?

Lake Erie Monster means 2 things: 1) One of my favorite beers back when I first started getting into craft beer. 2) I live about 1/4 mile from the lake, thought it was fitting.

    Great Expectations "Derailed"

^I agree. A few times a year we do the beer tasting up there and I always think derailed is tasty, and I normally don't like fruit beers.

    Denver Breweries

Avery was awesome. The new brewery is really nice and their taproom exclusive beers are awesome.

    Denver Breweries

I did a week vacation in Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins. In Denver, Epic and Crooked Stave were my two favorites. You really can't go wrong though, I'll have to check my untappd to make sure I'm not forgetting anything.

I suck at cooking. Please help.

I started cooking here and there in high school, mainly because I liked the aspect of making things, same reason I like brewing. I wasn't great at cooking immediately (except for omelets, for some reason I have always been able to do that). Since I enjoyed cooking, I watched decent amount of...

extra parts in kegging setup to clean and carb without disturbing beers on tap?

If I am understanding your setup correctly, you could add another line to your existing setup downstream of the regulator. This would allow you to have your in-service kegs pressured, with another line available at the same pressure.

milk stout came out waaay too sweet, any way to fix it?

I would brew up some coffee and mix it in. Maybe it's just the coffee stout kick I have been on recently, but I think the roastiness of the coffee could cut the sweetness well.
