I have never done this to my pot, I still have the dull gray oxide layer and never noticed any metallic off flavors. I guess I'll give it a try and see if I can taste any difference.
the beer should still be good. Just clean it up again. look for any air leaks in your kegerator that may be drawing in moisture and use some damp-rid and you should be set
I made a speichers cream soda like 2 weeks ago. At 30 psi 46*F one week later flat. So I bumped up the psi to 45 at 46* F and a week and a half later still flat. The pressure stays constant. Any ideas what the problem is?
