    Sour Beer, Fist attempt!!

    So what I have picked up from the replies so far is: -If I do a sour it pretty much ruins all my equipment for further non sour beers? -It will be better for me to buy a kit that is for souring due to ph issues and hops? Is this all correct?

    4 weeks and still Fermenting????

    Thanks for all the input everyone! Beer FG was right in between the predicted values and tasted wonderful, full of citra and amarillo!! bottled up and will be great in 2 weeks!

    I was worried about stalled fermentation but I had a aggressive and steady one for 3-4 days... I have kept the temperature between 67-70 degrees F as well so nothing has changed from 4 weeks ago.... Honestly I don't even know what reading to expect if I take one, I followed a furious clone...

    I did an extract IPA with wyeast 1335 4 weeks ago. It took 2 days for fermentation to begin but then was very aggressive for about 3-4 days. I have since transferred to secondary and Thursday 6/19 it will have been in the secondary for 2 weeks a total of 4 weeks all together. I never take...
