    Thanks for the responses. Want to make sure I understand this. Do you think the 30 tubes of yeast are going to be alright or too weak? I guess a starter will be the test. Do you usually just fill the ten tubes & dump the rest? Thanks again

    Did anyone else get way more yeast than expected? Ended up making a 1200ml starter instead of 1000, yeast was on stir plate for 48 hrs.     Wyeast 1332 harvested from a (1st generation) starter April 4th Just the yeast & 1800 ml of wort (1040) that I canned from a previous brew day. Stepped this yeast up as well for my 1st 10 gal batch.

    Harvested a white labs last week, worked great. Thank you My closest brew store is 3.5 hrs away & fermentis dry yeast is about $4.50 a packet. Could we do the same with a dry yeast & would it be worthwhile?

    Cool, kinda what I figured but didn't want to take any chances with my first all grain biab batch. It smelt fine when I put it in the fridge.

    Hi guys I made a starter a couple of weeks ago, stepped it up after a couple of days but then brew day was delayed. It sat on the counter about a week before cold crashing it. Do you think it will be ok to use? Thanks

    Immersion Chiller Tutorial Video

    Chiller came out pretty shiny after about a 8hr soak. Used it for the 1st time the other day & it chilled the wort to 70 F in about 20 min. Thanks for the great vid Bobby
