    prolly normal but worried

    Yea give it more time. After 48 hours if you don't see bubbles make sure your lid is air tight. If still nothing after that add energizer. But patients its probly your largest factor, lol

    Starting to think degassing is an unachievable feat....

    Have you recently added k meta, k sorbate, or sparkolloid? After I add these I can Degas bubbles all day. Give them time to settle if so. If you haven't then you are probly good, you don't want to take every little bit out. I used to Degas with a wand like that then got a vacuum for degassing. I...

    Bucket or carboy

    Your priming wine? Make sure you have champagne bottles then bud. If you are not priming I'd do the carboy, no need for extra air in your wine from an unneeded rack right before bottling.

    Dead Yeast

    isn't that what you're supposed to do? :) I think its just a term, when I right down my recipe in my notes I always say "introduced yeast"
