    Brew Day!

    Just started a brown ale, should (hopefully) turn out like New Castle. Next week going to put in our 2nd batch of "Alaskan Amber". Also have 10lbs of honey ready for a new batch of mead.

    I usually serve BYOB Or...Killian's if I'm feeling generous. Lately been buying AmberBock instead though

    Sanitizing Overnight?

    Yeah...after reading more here definitely thinking that in the future I'll switch to StarSan. Already decided to order a Vinator as well.

    Sanitizing Overnight?

    I am using C-brite to sanitize my equipment and had planned on mixing a solution and just letting everything soak overnight, but I have read many instructions that say to soak for 20 mins or so. Is that just a minimum soak time or is there a reason that I shouldn't do a overnight soak?

    My Fiancee brought home a beer making kit a week ago and I'm starting my first batch this weekend...should be an adventure! Found this place during my many hours surfing for information and thought I'd sign up, Cheers! :mug:
