Short dry hop the new norm?

Blichmann QuickCarb (New from HomebrewCon 2016)

Has anyone tried using this to recirculate dry hops in a keg with a filter on the diptube? Or used it to clean their tap lines?

    Brau Supply

https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/mashrecirculation.htm I got this one. I believe it only has one hole at the end, and then if you wanna buy the sparge ring as an attachment you can. I think the whole point of these is they're very aimable and won't move, unlike the silicone hose...

    Brau Supply

Guess I should have kept up with this thread... I just happened to order a diptube from brewhardware as well. I had the norcal style one in my cart for a bit, but then just went with this: https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/elbarb.htm and a male-male 1/2" nipple. Also sprung for the...

Yes, I just keep the probe plugged in. Sometimes it can be a bit cumbersome always moving the pump and controller together, but it's really not a big deal. I just got one of those 6x14" mesh ss baskets for boiling/whirlpool hops. It worked really well in keeping the gunk seperated, but the...

    1) I had the same pump issues, and have since moved to a Chugger as well. No problems since. I use a regular three piece ball valve (just like on the unibrau) mounted right after a 90 deg angle on the output of my pump. I thought the same as you and that 90 deg angle is actually the temp...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I just tried some Whoa Equinox from Magnify Brewing and it would certainly qualify as a NEIPA. Equinox starts out sweet and fruity, but it's sort of dryer than Citra/etc. The fruitiness goes away a bit on the finish and it's replaced with this sort of green peppery/piney/almost spicy flavor...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

One of my best batches of NEIPA had no boil hops whatsoever in it. Did it as sort of an experiment, and everyone at my homebrew club meeting loved it. Last two batches have been 0.25oz of Columbus.

    Brau Supply

Hey, finally got around to recording some of my brewday with the brau supply. I got some footage of the ever menacing 'foaming mash overflow' as well. Here ya go! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjtZmKXZwbQ

btw, my boiloff rates ended up being somewhere around 1gal/hr with both elements 100%, and .5gal/hr with 1 element. It was sort of a chaotic brewday so those aren't super precise, but definitely in the ballpark.

    Brau Supply

I managed to clog (well, partially anyways) it with a whopping 1 oz total of boil hops. By the last gallon the stream into my fermentor was just a trickle, but A) I didn't want to reach in there to scrape it and B) it seemed to be doing a nice job filtering.. I had really nice clear wort! But...

Weird about the pics... they show up on my end. I'll throw em on imgur and relink them. >Quick q. When heating up to strike temp were you using both elements or just one? That was with both elements. >your efficiency calculation is merely an estimate. I did know the exact volume...

Got some brewing in today with the unibrau! Decided to make Centennial Blonde, because I heard they'll revoke your posting privileges if you don't brew it within your first year here... So here it is setup and on my table. I purchased the 11 Gallon kettle with two 1500 watt elements and Ranco...
