    No Adhesive - Beer Sleeves

Yea, I was kind of on the fence about them too. Neat idea. If you shop a little you can get 75 sleeves for $5 so they aren't really that expensive. Prob just stick with glue sticks or milk myself, but wanted to share.

    No Adhesive - Beer Sleeves

http://www.noadhesive.com/products-page/uncategorized/beer-labels/ I searched and haven't seen any discussion on these. Remember to put the label on before the beer goes in. 200* water to shrink the plastic doesn't sound like a good idea full of beer. Neat idea though, wanted to share...

Racking Pumpkin to Secondary- Question on Adding More Spices

I can't speak for the rice hulls, but the mesh bag might work for pumpkin chunks.... You have me thinking again. :)

Racking Pumpkin to Secondary- Question on Adding More Spices

Canned pumpkin is messy. I did a mini mash last year with it and used the runnings to add to the boil. (I'm an extract brewer) This made the boil part a little easier, but I don't know how much flavor I really extracted. Canned pumpkin in the boil smelled sooooo good, but my filter on my ball...

    Don't use vanilla bean skin?

I used 3 whole Vanilla beans at various stages of my Winter Ale. It didn't come out acidic, it was very tasty. I would use the skin again without question.

    Maple Syrup SMaSH (Kinda)

Hello all, I've been brewing for about 5 years. I've made some good brews, a few great brews, and some terrible brews. Its all part of it right? Anyway, my latest idea was a Maple Syrup Ale. One of my Uncles has a sugar house in his backyard and makes his own syrup. He gave me a gallon...

    Eggnog beer...?

    Beer Smith DME selection question

You also have the ability to "Add Ingredients" to Beersmith fyi. I added Maple Syrup for a brewing experiment I had. I also have added fruit and other additives as I needed them.

    Dry hopping

The term dry hopping originated centuries ago with British brewers and was used to refer to adding hops to the cask shortly before it was shipped off to the customer. In fact, 1/2-ounce hop plugs were specifically developed by British hop producers to be a convenient way to add whole hops to a...

    Vegas Bound!

I wouldn't say they appeal to bud drinkers. I had their Irish Espresso Stout, their Pilsner and one other one. Took a growler back to the hotel for the remaining week we were out there. Good brew, and nice people. Get the beer battered fries and chicken. Mmmmmmm Their lips are loose...

This is a noob thing to do so I'll post it here... 100 Gallons!

My cousin and brewing buddy made oatmeal stout with extract. Look into a partial mash though. It will get you there :)

    Carbonation Emergency

Yup, carb'd up to drinking level. It might not be the perfect amount but a day at 30, a day at 20, then serving pressure resulted in a good beer for me in the past.

Using a Hydrometer with 1 Gallon Batches

Wow man. I wasn't hating, I was asking a question. I brew half batches as test batches, I understand the importance of smaller batches, I just wondered why 1 gallon instead of getting a case of beers.

Using a Hydrometer with 1 Gallon Batches

Why 1 gallon batches? All that time, work, cleaning, and for what? 10 Beers? I did a half batch (2.5 gallons) and I'm not really happy because the beer tasted great, I wish I had all 5 gallons of it.
