    Strawberry Blonde

Thanks a lot BrewBear. I like the idea of not having to clean and sanitize something else. I wonder if a cheese cloth or hop sock over the racking cane tube, while filling my bottling bucket, will do any damage?

    Strawberry Blonde

I have been making the same, or close to the same, recipe of strawberry blonde for several years now. I have always transferred 5 gallons on to 5lbs of strawberries. Since this is a wheat'ish beer, and I am not concerned with clarity, would it be ok to just add the frozen berries to my 6.5...

    Kegging question

Thank you for the responses. I will double check all that again. I have no idea. I broke down and rolled the keg around on my lap for a while and bled off a few times. I will post my findings in case this happens to anyone else.

    Kegging question

I have been kegging for about 7 years and this has never happened. I have had my psi set at 12 for about 2 weeks. I bled of the pressure when I first kegged. I let it sit. I poured a pint tonight and had ZERO carb, foam, or anything. Help

Collected too much wort in my carboy!

Great news, everyone. I am a brainless tool. I got this recipe off hopville and was going over it to see what I can adjust for next time. Turns out it was for a batch size of 6.3 gallons. I collected 6. The recipe is ruthless rye wannabe if you want to check it out.

Collected too much wort in my carboy!

So no need to add any sugar? Thank you for replying. Been doing this for 8 years now and have never had too much wort! Thanks again. I am going to have to break out the hydrometer again. Got too arrogant I guess.

Collected too much wort in my carboy!

So, I normally don't drink too much while I am brewing (all grain). However, this weekend I did and did not realize I collected way too much wort in my 6.5 gal carboy. I made a 5 gal batch and ended up with almost 6 gal. Did not take gravity reading and it is fermenting like crazy. Advice!
