American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

IMHO this is a great recipe to experiment w/. I made one batch as EdWort wrote it (it was great!). I think every batch I make of this I'll change up the hops, especially DH, and do some side by sides. I'm really trying to dial in hop varieties and techniques, man there is a lot to know. Cheers...

Worst Dumb Mistake You've Made While Drunk?

^^^That is probably the funniest story I've read on this thread. This is a prime example why you should never, ever have a bachelor party close to your wedding. This reminds me of all the bachelor party antics I've been a part of and blocked from my memory. Case in point.... My buddies fiance...

I would suggest Portland and not just because I'm from here. There is a great range of brewing going on. You can hit up Bridgeport and Widmer, Hair of the dog or Rogue (pub, not brewery). There are soo many small local breweries my head is gonna explode. I could spend the rest of my life just...

IMHO in only 8 days of fermentation you didn't get a lot of yeast settling out of this. Did you cold crash it before bottling? I think it's more the amount of yeast left in the beer, not the strain. I usually get a clean taste out of knotty. But could be wrong, next time if you only use a...

The stupidest comment on your beer

Ha ha funny, I have no reason to make up some story to a bunch of people I don't even know. I was just relating a funny experience. I'll try and get the picks up. I wish I had pictures of all the crazy ish I have seen/done, but that doesn't mean that they didn't happen.:p

    Homemade tap handles

Nice, I like the one's OP has already made. The interchangeable are nice too. If you're gonna make the brew, why use a commercial handle? I tend to make one-off weirdo ones. I'll get some pics put on 'puter. I have bought those threaded inserts and made handles out of funky bamboo, hard...
