IMHO this is a great recipe to experiment w/. I made one batch as EdWort wrote it (it was great!). I think every batch I make of this I'll change up the hops, especially DH, and do some side by sides. I'm really trying to dial in hop varieties and techniques, man there is a lot to know. Cheers...

I would suggest Portland and not just because I'm from here. There is a great range of brewing going on. You can hit up Bridgeport and Widmer, Hair of the dog or Rogue (pub, not brewery). There are soo many small local breweries my head is gonna explode. I could spend the rest of my life just...

IMHO in only 8 days of fermentation you didn't get a lot of yeast settling out of this. Did you cold crash it before bottling? I think it's more the amount of yeast left in the beer, not the strain. I usually get a clean taste out of knotty. But could be wrong, next time if you only use a...

Nice, I like the one's OP has already made. The interchangeable are nice too. If you're gonna make the brew, why use a commercial handle? I tend to make one-off weirdo ones. I'll get some pics put on 'puter. I have bought those threaded inserts and made handles out of funky bamboo, hard...
