    Question Kegging

    How long can I leave the beer in the Secondary Fermenter (Bucket) before I have to keg it, without it going off. I went mad with my brewing and I have 2 batches of beer that will be ready for kegging this Saturday (They have been in the secondary for 2 weeks). The problem is I have run out of kegs.

    It told me to boil 2 quarts then add the sugar and the kit. Once the sugar had disolved to then add it all to cold water to make 5 gallons

    I'm new to brewing beer. I'm using kits at the moment and was wondering what time periods most people use for fermenting. I'm leaving it for one week for Primary Fermentation and then a week for secondary. Then I'm kegging it. Do these times seem right? 2 weeks in total befor kegging

    Eveything was all in one can. I just boiled the water added the sugar. Then when the sugar was disolved added the contents of the can. Then the yeast was added once it was between 70 & 80 degrees. I have another batch on the go and that is very dark as well
