I'll be coming back for this year. Plan on brewing up a beer I did with one of my buddies back in Indy - a jalapeno cream ale.
Also, I plan on bringing a keg of a chocolate-vanilla coffee stout that I kegged a few weeks ago.
So, a belgian trippel ended up winning today. I'm a little disappointed that my gumball head clone wasn't picked, but I did try the trippel and it was good. So, there is some comfort in knowing that a tasty beer was chosen. Congrats to the winning brewer!

I haven't, but my wife has used some stuff that might be what you're looking for. She has stuff for scrap booking to cut out shapes like a small press. She also has presses that put designed into corners or edges of paper for larger pieces. Check out Jo-Ann's or Michael's stores for those things.
I used the Wyeast 1010 American Wheat Ale yeast. I thought this would give a fairly clean fermentation (no banana or clove) and didn't expect any spice.
Unfortunately, the judges didn't mark their certification/level on the score sheet. May be there's a reason?
The grain wasn't flaked and the fermentation temps were below 67* the whole time. I used Amarillo hops in the boil and dry hopped with Amarillo and citra.
I'm wondering if it was just...
I recently received feedback from an American Wheat that I entered into a competition. The beer was based upon a Gumball Head clone I found on the forums. The two judges that provided comments both noted Rye flavor and stated that the beer would've scored much better if entered as a Rye beer...
I had a similar thing happen to mine before. I had not used stainless bolts because Lowe's did not have long enough bolts at the time. I later switched to stainless bolts and haven't had a problem since.
Just built mine today. Most of my inspiration came from harten74's rig in this thread. I still need to add casters.
I don't use a separate burner for a lauter tun, so I didn't feel the need to make the third tier permanently fixed. Plus, I was able to make it a little smaller for storage...
Looking to brew a pumpkin ale this weekend and I would like to add pumpkin in my grains/adjuncts in my iBrewmaster app. One thing I need to do this is do add the SG of the ingredient.
Not looking for someone to do the work for me, but rather walk me through how to do the calculation.
I'm...
Made 4 this weekend. I did the mod to replace one 1x2 with a 1x3 so I can get 2 crates out of 5 boards.
Also, instead of dropping the 1x2 down 3/4", I dropped the 1x3 side rails (the 18.5" pieces) down to make them stackable.
I've noticed the same thing happen to me a couple times with my perlick faucets.
The beer on tap tasted fine. I went on travel for work for about a week and when I returned the beer had a weird bitter taste. I found that the bitterness went away after I poured a couple glasses.
I just chalked...
