I am trying to figure out the total amount of wort I have before boiling my first AG batch. Do most people just mark there Kettle and if so how? Thanks for any replies.
Thanks I'll give that a try and hope for the best. I was wondering if it would be possible to open some of the bottles and drop carbing tablets in them and recap?
I tried my cider this weekend for the first time since bottling and there is very little carbination. Only a few bubbles. I left this cider in primary for 1 month and secondary for about 2 months and its been bottled since about late Jan. It was about 4 gallons and I used 1/2 a cup of sugar...
My next brew was delivered last night to my house and I didn't see it until this morning. So it spent the night outside in 15 degree weather. I was just wanting to know if my yeast will still be ok?
I was in the same boat as far as not wanting to use it in the kit it came with. This is my first cider and only had 12 bucks in the juice so I wasn't that worried.
