    Mash Bag vs Malt Pipe

I've used a bag in my Brewzilla, others have too. Last time I didn't, no problems. I mostly use it to contain the grain, I haven't had a stuck mash.

9.2% BGSA bottle conditioning inconsistency 3 months after fermentation began, 2 months after bottling

I don't know. I made a big Belgian once that needed six months in the bottle to mature. It stayed good for a couple of years, then fell off. I think the only thing you can do is keep aging. If it's oxidized or infected it will probably get worse. Keep us posted. Welcome aboard!

    Pumpernickel Light Porter (?)

It looks like an interesting recipe. One website I looked at recommended Carafa only up to 5% of your recipe. I think the rye and Vienna will give you a nice base. Welcome aboard, keep us posted.

    Bottling home made root beer

I haven't made that recipe, but I did bottle MrBeer in 12oz glass, so I would think you can too.

Re-pitching a yeast that had produced excess sulfur

Sulfur smell fermenting, or finished? I wouldn't worry if it only smelled while fermenting.

Mystery problem about 8 days into ferment - TWICE

Welcome aboard! I've made hard cider only once in recent years, using just two different pasteurized ciders from mills. In addition to the parts that I made with yeast, I let one spontaneously ferment. It did so quickly, so the pasteurization was not completely effective. So you might have...

Where to post questions about fermented cucumbers (pickles)?

FB has groups for fermenting vegetables. I bought a book to learn.

    Years long infections

I don't think it's the Starsan, I keep mine for several months.

Where to post questions about fermented cucumbers (pickles)?

I think you have started a new thread, and that's okay. I ferment sauerkraut, but not pickles yet.
