So I after I pitched my yeast I pushed a rubber bung too far in the carboy. As I tried to get it out it went farther in, long story short it went all the way threw. My question is will this effect the beer at all to have a rubber stopper floating in it during primary fermentation?

Is it safe to brew a batch of beer and let your wort sit over night in a clean and sanatized carboy and then pitch the yeast the next day? I don't see why there would be a problem but I just wanted to ask more experienced brewers.
My recipe calls for 0.5lbs of wheat LME, if I use DME wheat extract instead do I still use 0.5lbs? Also how will switching to DME effect the taste of my beer?
