How long before you can't reuse a yeast cake?

Hi all, I have two batches of beer going right now (Scottish Ale and Blonde Ale) and I want to try reusing a cake for my next batch of cider. They've been in the fermenters almost a month and I'm going to bottle soon. Are the yeast cakes still good? How long can you go before it's no good...

    Tetley's English Ale Clone Recipe

Hi All, I'm looking for a clone recipe for Tetley's English Ale. Extract preferred but I can always convert it in Beersmith if you have an AG. Also, they have the little "rockets" in the cans, would I have to keg w/stout gas to get the full effect? Thanks and take care, Jim

All my batches so far have a "grainy" taste please critique my technique

I just wanted to add that I don't think it's a fermentation issue because it's always gotten going within 12 hours of pitching and lasted 4-7 days, no worries there.

    22oz bottles and the 'sediment'

I've only used 22s and never had a problem with it clouding. Usually just a ring o' goo in the bottom of the bottle. A quick rinse with hot tap water gets it out easily too, as long as you do it right away.

All my batches so far have a "grainy" taste please critique my technique

Hi All, I'm not 100% please with the way my beer has been turning out and I wanted to see if there was anything I was majorly screwing up or if anyone could offer any advice on how to improve my process. My biggest problem is that my beer seems to have a "grainy" taste and the body is...
