    Hi friends , my buddy purchased a bottle of reservoir distillery mead from Europe I believe . It was 50% ABV . It was surprisingly smooth and had a very good flavor. I’d love to take a crack at recreating something similar … what yeast would I pitch to get that high up or close in ABV ?

    Clarifying but still bottle carbonating

    Hey guys , question … I was going to clarify my berry melomel with bentonite but I still wanted to bottle carbonate . Is this possible ? I don’t wanna kill off all the yeast but I do want it clear but still get some carbonation in the bottle . What’s the best way to do this ?

    Yes I would be adding it as a priming sugar . The guy who runs man made mead on you tube was instructing to use priming sugar erithritol to get your bottle carbonation . Is that not accurate ?
