    BS will convert automatically for you. If you use 31 ounces of something, type in 31 oz and it will convert it for you. Same with all the other measurements. What ever you set your defaults to, it will convert them for you. Sent from my iPhone 5.

    No, that isn't my situation. What I'm trying to do is figure out a way to have BeerSmith tell me what my Mash Efficiency is and let me manipulate it. For example if a certain recipe came up with 60% Mash Efficiency and I wanted to have 70%, I could change 60 to 70 in it's box and then it would...

    This is how I do it for version 2.0. 1. Make a profile for 2.5 or 3 gallons. 2. Make a copy of the 5 gallon recipe you want to scale. 3. Open the copy and under "profile", click on pull down menu and select the profile you want. Hope this helps.
