Search rhino farts. Smelly fermenting cider is nothing to sorry about, it should clear with time. If not then you may have something to worry about.
And most sugar is cane sugar, so not sure what you mean by standard sugar
Most people don't use buckets with spigots for this reason, though they can work.
One major issue is tightening it down too much. If you put too much torque on the o ring will deform, causing a leak. It is better to just hand tighten without cranking it as hard as you can
There are or at least we're 3 dogfish head pubs in the DC area (2 in VA one in MD). They have great food and good beer.
Capital City brewing has a few locations as well. Lots of ethnic food too but if you are looking for beer both of those are good for reasonable prices.

Probably wouldn't be qood for quantity but a couple of stainless growlers would work. Only problem I see is bouncing around in the golf cart would cause a lot of co2 loss when opened

Brainless on peaches. Not quite what I thought it would be but still tasty. I had seen several things saying it was sour but I am getting more funk than sour

First I have had from them but I thought this was a really good beer. Oak came out as it warmed up but wasnt over the top. I guess some would say it was kind of bland but I found it a good balance of everything.

Paradox brewing. End onf the beginning #1. Nicely soured, not getting a lot of the oak but it is still chilly so that may come out as it warms up

Man I am loving my PG500. Did some wings earlier today, also threw on a chuckie for tacos. Thich bone in pork chops yesterday, and the best stakes I have ever cooked. Been through 30+ lbs of pellets since Nov. Got my amazing tube smoker I got for Christmas burning off now so probably doing...
