Looks like a great brew. Question on a little tweak... What do you think about using Marris Otter? I just bought a 50# sack. I love the malty charecteristics of this. My wife is 5 months pregnant and I brewed her a Drop Top clone that she loved... The problem was two days after I tapped the keg...
Sweet. I have been contemplating this for awhile. I have a cold smoke box set up on my smoker for cheese so sounds like I will smoke cheese and grain:). I was thinking about just using the mesh bag and hanging it in there but stirring makes sense.
Well I have a meat grinder motor that uses the same drive. So I would power it with that. I was more curious on the mill itself. I appreciate all the input. Looks like I just may have to buy two.
I do not have a picture but they are on eBay and if you went to kitchen aids web site they have a picture. My wife wants to make flour. I want to make BEER.
Has anyone used on of these? If so how well does it work? Can you have full adjustment of how fine or coarse it goes? My wants one and I need a grain mill so I figured kill two birds with one stone.
Thank you
So I should be fine to transfer to my secondary? I wasn't going to bottle yet. I was planning on leaving it in the secondary for 2-4 weeks. So I can brew up another batch.
So I brewed my very first batch last Sunday and it recommended 7-10 days in primary. Also said must have one bubble a min before transfer. I am at 7 days and am getting bubbles still at 15-20 seconds. What happens if it stays longer in the primary?
