    Atlanta breweries/beer/restaurants

I wrote this weekend guide to Atlanta beer when Shelton Fest was here. It includes a map with all the breweries and beer bars. Max Lager's is <1/2 mile from the Hilton, easily walkable. Wrecking Bar is my go-to if I just have one place to take my beer loving friends when they're in town. The...

I haven't had much chance to brew in the last year and haven't used it again. Sorry, no update info to share.

Neat. Add me to the $15 backers. I like to ferment veggies and this is pretty cool.

Atlanta, GA folks I could use some advice!

Our craft beer scene here is booming. I moderate a forum for Georgia beer at reddit.com/r/atlbeer and I also host a weekly radio show on the craft beer scene, Beer Guys Radio. The laws here are messed up, but despite the challenges we still have a great scene with awesome breweries, brewpubs...

Cobb county brewer here, anyone else?

Well at least you got to try the beer! I've had this happen a few times, I've "met" so many people online that we don't always know when we see each other out in the wild. Hope you had a good time at the fest. :mug:

    Easy Wide Mouth Bubbler Modification

I wondered about the flimsiness as well. I imagine one good catch on the drill bit could rip the fermenter up pretty good. Holy cow! The racking adapter is $30 and the valve is another $20!!! Is that right?

    Looking for Cherokee County Brewers

LOL, you just compared Facebook to Nazis. You so crazy. Hit them up through the email listed on their website. Meetings are the same time and place each month so once you make connection with them you should be good to go.

    Looking for Cherokee County Brewers

Well it's an easy and convenient way to reach a lot of people. They have 127 people on their Facebook group which offsets the few people that don't use it.

    Looking for Cherokee County Brewers

They have a website as well but it's very seldom updated. Most communication, meeting announcements, etc. are done through the Facebook group.

Cobb county brewer here, anyone else?

Hey guys, if you're available on the 25th come out to Burnt Hickory Brewery in Kennesaw for their 3rd Anniversary party. My buddy and I brewed one of our recipes (chocolate coffee porter with raspberries) with them and will be serving it at the event as part of their Future Brewers of Georgia...
