I wondered about the flimsiness as well. I imagine one good catch on the drill bit could rip the fermenter up pretty good. Holy cow! The racking adapter is $30 and the valve is another $20!!! Is that right?

LOL, you just compared Facebook to Nazis. You so crazy. Hit them up through the email listed on their website. Meetings are the same time and place each month so once you make connection with them you should be good to go.

Well it's an easy and convenient way to reach a lot of people. They have 127 people on their Facebook group which offsets the few people that don't use it.

They have a website as well but it's very seldom updated. Most communication, meeting announcements, etc. are done through the Facebook group.
