    Hydrogen Peroxide for Aeration

At work we were told to use up all the >30% peroxide as it has made the leap to the "watched substances" list by Homeland Security. Apparently if you want to use something stronger than 30% you must be a terrorist. And yes, the peroxide would probably do mean and hurtful things to your yeast...

    possible pumpkin substitute

In the spices section of your local grocery store you will find "pumpkin pie" spice. You could just as easily do an extract brew, a simple pale ale or maybe something with a little more color and just add the "pumpkin pie" spice. If you want to go the AG route, again, a simple brew, and if...

    What's Brewing on Veria

I saw the show, "What's Brewing" on Veria. A satalite channel up in the nosebleeds. They apparently discuss anythng that is brewed. Tea, coffee, stuff with fungus, you name it. They finally got to beer. Oofda! What a bunch of tards. She brings out three beers on a tray and the alleged expert...

One in this hand and one in that hand. One, two. One, two. One, two. Yep, that's all I can handle at one time.

    Unconventional uses of Belgian yeast?

So would that be creating a new style? And saying "Unconventional use of belgian yeast", I get the impression all belgian beers are unconventional, especially when compared to the stodgy german limitations. Those crazy monks threw all kinds of wierd stuff in there. Orange peels??? wha...

no more vanilla ever! and SWMBO has no respect!

+1 on the chocolate. Everyone keeps saying, Ooo, isn't this chocolate ymummy? And I tell them it tastes like wax to me. Early on in my brewing experiences I made three different stouts and thought I was getting them wrong. This was when there was very little variety available in stores...

wife is not much of a beer drinker, but....

My wife does not drink at all. I occasionally get her to taste one and the response is the same. "Icky, that tastes bad." Doesn't bother me in the least. More for me that way.

    Scariest Movie Ever!

They made children of corn about 8 miles from where I live. My lawyer died in the cafeteria scene, he was the balding old man. My personal scariest movie was "Little shop of horrors". The original, not the musical. I was 5 and remember trying to sink into the couch backwards. If we were...

ATTN: Pitbull Owners Beware of Pits w/ Children

Just another example of the government taking individual rights and freedoms away from its citizens. The reason bills like that get started are irresponsible owners. Don't know how to train a dog or don't care. The reason pitts get the limelight is if one does attack, the guy that said, it's not...

Always look on the bright side of life

You didn't dump the beer because it was skunked, you were inoculating the septic tank.
