    Carbonator capped a bottle of this while filling keg. This beer is awsome. Great flavours and my only complaint is that I have to wait for the keg to carb now :( Cheers for the recipe!

    Howe Sound Devil's Elbow or Total Eclipse of the Hop

    Bump. Emailed Howe sound asking for any small idea of what they use for the total eclipse. 3 weeks with no reply..... I hope someone with the right skills decides to figure out a clone for that beer. It's easy enough to get it on the island. But has become a pain to source out in eastern BC.

    Well SOB. Cleaning up from the brew day and what do i find on the bench. The final addition of EKG and Fuggle. Forgot the flameout addition. DOH! My plan is to primary for 2 weeks then 1 week dry hop. Hopefully she turns out good. I know dry hop is different but who knows.

    The more I look at other threads the more I'm thinking I've gotta bad regulator. Most people seem to set it at desired psi with kegs attached. And that's it. Doesn't drop right away or anything. Just set it and all good.

    Ya could be the regulator. But I was thinking since when the output is closed it seems to stay at the right Pressure. Only changes when it's hooked to a keg. Might be something about the time it takes to equalize or something?

    Hello all. Im going to be making this in the morning. I forgot to make a starter with a WL300 yeast. I get home from night shift at 9 am. Would it be worth it to make a starter and pitch about 8 hours later?? Or could i get away with just pitching the vial? Any input is appreciated, Thanks!

    Skeeter Pee

    Wife really likes the cherry. She adds a splash of sprite also. I like them all, an ya the cherry is a little fake tasting. But it is koolaid so kinda figures. Next batch is gunna be dragons blood. Natural flavouring should be pretty good I'm thinking.
