    Clawhammer 240v mash temp issues

    I use the 20 gallon 240v ClawHammer... as I prepare water to mash I use the spray. I don't wait to turn on the spray after I add the grain. For me, I get everything dialed in at say 152 with the spray, add the grain... then my temp creeps to 158, falls back down to 152 and then fluctuates 1...

    I use the ClawHammer 20 gal 240v... well worth paying the few extra bucks for the extra 10 gallons. You can do some serious damage with the amount of grain that you can fit into that puppy. Even though it is a 20 gal system... I do 5 or 6 gallon batches with it all the time. I like the freedom...

    Interesting... I never thought about the Saison before. Great idea. Two IPAs is probably the easiest to do mixing up Yeasts and dry hopping differently. Did you just use a very basic grain bill for that?

    I have recently made the leap from a 15 gallon system to a 1 bbl system. This upgrade has been great but it was a little fast (growing pains) and now I am left with more beer than I can get rid of. For efficiency sake and to make the best use of my equipment... Can anyone think of a grain bill...
