depending on how bad the kink is, just use some pliers on the wide spot and barely squeeze on it. it'll kind of open it up but it won't be perfectly round.

Anyone ever used pickled japalenos or other peppers? They are usually more mild than fresh ones. I've tried a few commercial beers and I'm not a big fan either but it's just a thought.
