    Boiling with lid on

I always boil with my lid off. Especially when I'm trying to boil down 6.5 gallons to 5 or 5.5. Also, if you start to get a boil over, spraying it with a fine mist of water usually stops it.

Thank you! Really, it's just the result of scrounging around work for spare parts. Lol. It just happened to look kind of cool when it was done. Lol.

Oh that's cool. I didn't even know they made variable voltage warts. I'll definitely look for one. One less hole to drill. Lol

    Has anyone ever brewed this?

I did find a recipe. I was just wondering if anyone here had tried it, and how it turned out.

    Has anyone ever brewed this?

Firestone Walker Double Jack is my absolute favorite beer. I want to try an all grain clone, 5 gallon batch size. Has anyone here ever tried this one?

    DIY Stir Plate

Thanks! I watched a couple of YouTube videos on other peoples builds. Luckily, I had most of the parts at my job. I'm going to install a speed control tomorrow. Turns out, a speed control is more of a necessity than a feature. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the stir bar spinning.
