Yeah I agree, bitter with something else and if you can find another oz of galaxy, dry hop with it... I'm really digging galaxy, very Citra-like to me.

I would double the 60 minute addition, move the 20 to 10, increase the flameout hops, and add a dry hop... +1 on the Galaxy, it's awesome

Looks pretty good to me. I might drop the Columbus or move it to the end of the boil, 204 IBU's seems like a little bit of overkill to me, but that's just my opinion.

I think they've got some kind if proprietary yeast strain that gives all their beers some kind of flavor I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of. The reason I think it's the yeast is because I tasted it every one of their beers that I've tried. But Resin was the one that I liked the most. Good luck

I think it means caramunich, which is about 60L... Regular Munich malt is between 7-10L.... Bottom line, you're good, no worries

I bumped up my bittering addition about 15 IBU's because I was kinda thinking the same thing... But I also moved the 25 minute additions to 20 minutes thinking I would retain more flavor and aroma.... Also threw in 2 oz. each of Citra and Amarillo for the whirlpool instead of the suggested 1.75...

Brewing this today. Just mashed in at 148. Only difference was I had had to use Chocolate Wheat (400L) because the LHBS doesn't carry Midnight Wheat. Really looking forward to having this beer on tap at my house. Oh, and glad we all made it through the apocalypse!! Cheers!!

My pounds of Citra, Centennial, Amarillo, and FF 7 C's were delivered today. Glad I ordered from them and would do so again.

I got the same somewhat non-definitive email a couple days ago and I'm wondering if I should start looking at other options. I ordered a lb. each of Centennial, FF 7 C's, Citra, and Amarillo on 10/24. Really hope I get them since I've been to my LHBS twice in the last couple weeks and passed on...

Awesome... A storm rolled through town so can't brew til tomorrow afternoon but I have a feeling I might like this beer a lot.
