Brewed this on 08/12 just took a hydro sample and it 1.017, and tasting great, I do think it could use a tad more spice but after a few weeks I'm sure the flavors will mellow and I'll bottle it up! Thanks for the recipe!!
I used one of those 5 gal cylinder type ones a friend had before and worked great also, but can get tricky with larger grain bills, if you do use one of those you can just mash with the grain bag already in the cooler and just lift out the grain to sparge, about 12# max of grain @1.25qt/pound...
