I have started using a bag ment for brew-in-a - bag to line my 5 gal cooler mash tun and if I start to get slow runnings I just lift the bag a little and it all runs smoothly again.

I did this once with blueberry pie by accident ( got done bottling some wine, had a few to many and used the same equipment to bottle the pie) woke up to corks flying across the living room. Had to uncork them and placed tin foil on top.
I let them ferment out and they were absolutely delicious...

llllare available at HD type stores and go by the secret name of "paint bucket opener" and are cheaper. They work quite well.
I have also read that the bucket does not have to be snapped on/sealed and no nasties will get in due to the co2 being off gassed...
I have a 10" collar with no miter cuts on it. Just screwed the corners together and ran silicone caulk over the joints. It may not look as fancy as some I've seen on here but it sits in my living room and nobody has ever said it looks terrible and it does a wonderful job.
My understanding is that krausening is adding wort to prime as priming is adding any sugar to prime. Not a big difference but us brewers seem to like using our own language to differentiate the processes and equipment we use.
