    Chest Freezer

    I just finished converting my 14.8 cu ft chest freezer to a kegerator. The outside controller works great, I really don't think there is anything to worry about.

    I have a JSP Malt Mill and it rocks, mine doesn't have the gears as shown, but I use a drill to power it.

    Got my first good look at all-grain today....

    When I was doing partial mashes I was concerned about going AG, but once I started I never looked back. Yes, it takes longer, but in the end it is very satisfying to know you took malted grain and made your own beer. It's like brewing for the first time again. Enjoy!!!!

    Plastic vs Glass Primary, The Ultimate Question

    Personally, I use plastic for primary and use glass for secondary. I have heard horror stories about carboys breaking and causing some serious injuries. I don't believe that with good sanitation and a regular schedule for brews, plastic is not a bad thing. How much O2 do you can actually get...

    I've used both, but towards the end of my extract brewing I prefered DME. Now the only thing I use it for is starters.
