I don't understand what I could be doing wrong. It seems to hold pressure decently well if I barely tighten the tri-clamp at the very top but as soon as I try to tighten it it leaks.

Have you pressure tested yours yet? I got the tri-clamp lid and I'm having a hard time getting a seal on both that lid is well as the yeast jar. No problem with the three piece tri clamp for the butterfly valvle though.

Anybody overbuild starters with a24? I'm concerned that the diastic traits of the combo will alter the balance over time so I'm thinking it's not a good idea.
