That's precisely why I made my bar-top overlap to cover the seal. I was sure that attempting to paint it either wouldn't stick, flake and peal off, or wreck the seal.

What's on tap for the Super Bowl?

2011 Super Bowl Party was a success. Good friends, good beer, good food, and good game! Time to start planning next year's party.

Stout and Lager. The Stout was for me and my braver friends.

    Start up kits.

I've purchased all my stuff from KegConnection. All of their kits are completely customizable. I called them up because I wanted everything but the CO2 cylinder and they hooked me up with a very good deal. I always suggest you call them up and tell them what you want. They have always been...

What's on tap for the Super Bowl?

Sorry, didn't realize they were a Canadian thing until just now. http://www.pogocanada.ca/en/products.html It's a popular brand name of corn-dog up here. The mini ones make for a great Super Bowl snack.

What's on tap for the Super Bowl?

Myself, I have a Stout and Lager that will be just about perfect for game day. Besides the beer I'll be making about 5 gallons of my famous Chili (keg the chili??? hmmm...) and everyone will be bringing a food item, nachos, Chicken wings, Pogos, etc. Planning to have about ten guys over to...

Are you gonna bark all day little doggie... or are you going to build a Keezer?

That would be a pretty tight fit. I wonder if you could fit two. What's the internal width, depth, and "hump" size? You should add it to the Keezer/Freezer/Kegerator Inside Dimension Database if you haven't already. Is Menard's a national retailer in the US? I've never heard of them.

My idea for this is part of the reason I put my Keezer on wheels. I'll put a block and tackle or small chain-fall in my laundry room. Roll the Keezer into the laundry room, hoist up the 1/2, and roll the Keezer under and lower it inside then roll it back. Also for ideas on converting...

Are you gonna bark all day little doggie... or are you going to build a Keezer?

It's about 11.7 cuft. I can fit five corny kegs on the floor and the CO2 cylinder. Could fit a sixth keg if I moved the CO2 outside the freezer. I could also fit a Sanke keg and one Corny or the CO2 cylinder. Part of the reason I used this old freezer instead of buying a new one was the...

eBay. I think it cost me about $5 including shipping from Hong Kong. I was honestly surprised at how nice it looked.

They asked for it - Keezer build

Absolutely gorgeous work Beeboy! Adds up fast eh? I have a list somewhere I was going to post on the blog but didn't want the wife to realize just how much it cost. Been almost a year now so could probably get away with it now.

    Carbonation Stone?

Toured a Brewpub last weekend and asked their brewmaster how well their carbonation stones work. He said they fully carbonate their beer in about three hours at only 10-12 PSI! The smaller homebrew stones sold at Chi say with 24 hours which still seems like a great idea, especially without...
