    i 2nd rack my meads in plastic vittle vaults 4.7 gallon containers and the benefit is that you don't have to cover them up to keep light out, however they are harder to clean and sanitize than glass plus they hold in the smell of the flavor you create so if you use them use them for short term...

    has anyone made a red hot's mead yet?

    i was going to start looking into makeing a red hot's based mead as an experiment but was wondering if anyone out there in mead land has attempted such a task.:tank:
