Can't believe no one mentioned putting in a Hot Dog. I gotta have a cut up Hot Dog, an egg and some chopped green onions.

How to add orange peel and coriander seed

I'm brewing a Witbier. How should I add the orange peel and coriander. In a hop bag or just add to the wort like the hops?

    Ok...This can't be good.

Barely, I agree, I'll never be able to re-create this brew...not sure if I'll ever try, especially if I don't have good "Head Retention". :D Hey I just noticed that you are from Brunswick, ME. I lived in Brunswick as a youngster, went to Jr. High and High School in Brunswick, graduated in...

SWMBO was not pleased but she got a clean range hood out of the deal.

I'm sure the boil over was not caused by the drop of grease. I caused the boil over by placing the cover on the pot and not paying attention to it while checking out the range hood.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping you guys would say that the boil would kill the drop(s). I already have a name picked out for it..how does "Range Hood Porter" sound? A question about the boil over. A good bit of the hops I added in pellet form was lost during the boil over. Is that...

    Ok...This can't be good.

I just brewed my first Unhopped Malt Extract batch yesterday, a Porter. I carefully sanitized all my equipment prior to use. Crushed and steeped the grains without any problems. Added the different variety of hops at the proper time. Carefully watched the wort to make sure I didn't have a boil...

    First Brew

I guess it's not really much of a kit. It's only a can and a small bag of yeast. Check out the link. http://www.coopers.com.au/homebrew/hbrew.php?pid=1&id=123 Thanks for the info.

    New Brewer

Crestview is in the Panhandle of Florida, near Ft Walton Beach and Eglin AFB. My LHBS sold me a bag of sugar. After doing some reading first on this forum decided to forgo the sugar and go with some type of extract, haven't decided what to use yet.

    First Brew

I just purchased a 6 Gal carboy Brewers kit from my LHBS yesterday. For my first brew I'm going to try the Coopers Brewmaster Wheat Beer kit. My LHBS sold me a 2.2 lb bag of Dextrose to use with the kit. After reading several posts on this form I've decided not to use the Dextrose but go with...

    New Brewer

I'm from Crestview Florida and just purchased a brew kit yesterday from my LHBS. I went straight for a 6 Gallon Carboy kit. I kinda like the idea of watching the whole process through the glass instead of a bucket. I think the kit was something the LHBS put together and not a prepack. My first...
