Been reading some posts on the boards referencing high krausen with Wyeast 1007. Should I rig up my fermenter with a decent size blow off tube? Any pics or tips here would be appreciated.
From reading the post I take it the small bubbler doesn't cut it with this yeast.
That looks fantastic. How long and at what temp do you smoke at? I've wanted to start smoking for a while, but like everything worth while, it takes time and with all the other things I do, time is sometimes hard to find

The flour was suggested from one source to help with the cloudy appearance of hefe, but I'll leave it out based on feedback.
5oz Magnum (bittering) - 60 min
.5oz Cascade - 35 min
.5oz Willamette -40 min
I have a couple of brews under my belt now and it seems they have all gotten better over time. My last IPA didn't start tasting really good until four weeks after bottling. Patience is a good virtue when brewing beer.
