    dual vessel system

i don't know if you've checked on prices of the 3- way valves and found something reasonable, but I haven't found any within anywhere's near the price of 2 two way valves... just something for you to consider, unless you have a healthy budget to spend $300 on a 3 way electric ball valve.

Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

what's wrong with compressing the bag to force out the wort? I figure you just don't throw away as much wort that would be sucked up in the grains... I just drank a beer I did with this method and it seemed to turn out just fine... although it was a light blonde type beer that wasn't too...

    DIY forum ruined me

I'm a regular MIG welder, never tried TIG. Have a lincon with stainless wire feed and argon gas tip. How much better is TIG? I haven't done any thin stainless with the MIG yet, as I know I would just blow holes in the side of the thin metal. I'm used to using it for structural stuff, like...

Dip tube in corny keg sucking up yeast. Cut it?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I try to do my research before asking questions. I pulled more than 4 pints from my keg (8 cups or so) and it still seams to be very yeasty. I am worried that my dry hopping (the new technique for this batch) or oxygen has ruined my batch, but I'm kinda at a...

    Possible stuck fermentation. Need help.

Thank you for the input. I will have to check at my LHBS for the amylase enzyme. Is what you are really suggesting is to add more malt extract, or to do another mash at 150 degrees? I had no idea that 15 degrees would make that big of a difference. I will be more careful next time. I do not...
