    I made a breakfast stout and that was the thought I had when I just siphoned it to a keg... I was taking a test sip from my FG it had the sour esters that I did not want... That will be keg # 3 that I used that ##@$@$@$@@ YEAST....

    Thank YOU!!!!!! I have been brewing for like 3 years now and I started using the dry yeast.. I will give it that it ferments very quickly but I couldn't put my finger on this sour tangy taste I was getting in my beers....     I made an imperial stout last Friday.. when I came down Saturday it had blown off the cap to the airlock and the little bubbler device.. It also left some on my 8ft high ceiling....

    I 've ran cleaner through the lines but never let it sit any length.. should I let this sit for a couple days?

    I've had this issue too, I chalked it up to a bad batch and have dumped the beer... I was using priming sugar since I was out of co2, since I am using co2 to dispense so I use to less of the priming sugar? when using a keg is force carb a better way to go?

    Dry Irish (Primary)

    This will be the 4th stout I've made and second that had that type of gravity. Have not checked the other 2.

    I have a Dry Irish Stout in the primary for just about a week. I checked the gravity and its at 1.018, the OG was 1.042 Other searches and this is coming up normal. I am going to leave it and keg it next weekend if the gravity doesn't change. Any thoughts It just hit me, I am using a 6.5...

    Cleaning Bottles

    I run my flip bottles through the dishwasher every time. I also rinse once I pour a beer so I dont have any built up residue.

    Move it into the house to avoid low temps. You can check the gravity and see where you are at.
