I began homebrewing a few years ago after returning to Salt Lake City after 6 years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego most of that time.
The local availability of good and interesting beers is very limited and very expensive. I have always loved good beer and have always sought out interesting varieties beyond light lagers. The only realistic way to do that here is to brew my own.
