In my case, it's what didn't come in the mail today, or more accurately UPS. Made a mistake on my delivery address saying that I live on 3rd Ave E instead of the correct 3rd Ave N. Of course, UPS can't figure the difference out and won't let me change it, so I had to contact Northern Brewer...
Success! The Comedy of Errors Black IPA is a bit overpressured, but otherwise turned out pretty good! A bit too dangerously tasty, as it's in the 7-8% ABV range. Since I didn't get the initial gravity post-boil, I'm not sure exactly where it is.
Update: checked the gravity, and it was 1.017. That's exactly the final gravity goal, so transferred to keg. It worked!
Oh, and sampled the hydrometer test beer. It tasted pretty good! :mug:
Checked the gravity of my Comedy of Errors Black IPA, and hit it on the nose. Recipe called for 1.017, and that's where it was. Got it kegged and resting overnight. Will put it in the beer fridge and begin force carbonation tomorrow. Also traded my empty CO2 tank for a full one.
I'm in Cascade, about 25 miles south of Great Falls. Just ordered a couple more kegs to fill so hopefully I'll be able to have a steady supply of homebrew!
