I hope this is the right section to ask this question but here goes; would I need an extractor if I were to brew extracts assuming I don't have the available "extracts" as is therefore I'd need to extract it my self. What machines do you people prefer to use? I've read about a CO2 extractor but...
how does one carbonate water? is it through CO2 extraction machine? I've heard of what they used in those restaurant soda machines called something like carbonation? Not sure if that would be a machine, an ingredient or a process?
I want to make ginger ales so I was wondering what those soda maker machines are about if they are good products or just hype? anyone here ever used them? I think they go for about $80 but if anyone knows of a cheaper one let me know.

I'd still like to visit a real beer brewing facility to see a hands on experience on how it's all done unless anyone here can...
I just looked into The Grainfather I've seen advertised on this forum. What do you people think of it? I know it can get expensive but are these all in one ready to brew products worth it? Either that or go DIY type of setup.
I may go to a beer factory to watch how they brew beers. From what I...
so you pretty much just pour the same amount of water as the phosphoric acid, is that how you did it? Or would it be half the amount of phosphoric acid?
OK so without acids it's still beer? So mix crushed grains and hot water, how do I hold it at a particular temperature? Which machine does this? Like those I see advertised on this forum? So once startches convert to sugars, that's beer?
